The NASA Intern program is available through Redlands Community College. Part-time positions are available working up to 25 hours per week. Applicants must be enrolled in classes at Redlands Community College as a half-time student or more. Students will be partnered with research mentors at the USDA-ARS Center in El Reno, Oklahoma.  Job duties will include an undergraduate research project in Science, Engineering, Technology, Agriculture or Mathematics. Applicants must have good attention to detail and the ability to work independently.Previous experience in a STEM or agriculture related field is desired. Preference will be given to students who have previously applied to participate in the Redlands NASA-funded Programs. Applications may be picked up from the Human Resources Department at Redlands Community College, 1300 South Country Club Road, El Reno, OK  73036.

Annie Blassingame

This year’s NASA Intern for the BlueSTEM AgriLearning Center was Annie Blassingame. Annie is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Agricultural Communications and Journalism to help promote the importance of agriculture and to become a voice and advocate for Americas family farmers. With Ann Marshalls mentoring, Annie will be communicating and marketing for the BlueSTEM Agrilearning Center and acting as a liaison with El Reno Public Schools by conducting research surveys to implement BlueSTEM in the schools curriculum.
